Osage Hills School participated in the "2025 Read an Accurate Ag Book Week" through Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom. 📚
Our 1st graders enjoyed a special guest speaker, LaKita Tanner from the Oklahoma Cattlewomen's Association, and 2nd grade had our very own SRO, Derrin Jorgensen, read to them.
Students loved listening to the stories about agriculture. 🌾

🌟 Mrs. Sanders' 2nd grade class read a story this week called Maybe Something Beautiful by Isabel Campoy. 📚 The story is about making the community a beautiful place to be. This morning the class used sidewalk chalk on the playground to make our school beautiful.

After an author read of the book "Fry Bread," our amazing 1st grade teacher, Ms. G made the pre-k through 4th graders some delicious fry bread with honey 🍯 😋. Needless to say, they were all full.

🚀 Our 7th & 8th graders are diving into PLTW App Creators!
They’re learning how computers “think” by using algorithms and flow charts. Today’s challenge: create step-by-step directions for how the 🚌 school bus would get everyone safely to the museum. 🏛️
They did an awesome job breaking it down into clear steps and decisions just like real programmers do. 🙌 We can already tell this is going to be a fun unit!

For one day and one day only! The 5th-8th grade summer learners are performing an adaptation of "The Rainbow Fish". They have worked hard to learn lines and create a fantastic set that brings the ocean to life. With the guidance of Ms. Fox and Mrs. Bledsoe, they brought this funny and cute story to life.

FREE SUMMER MEALS AT OHS!
Osage Hills will be offering free breakfast and lunch to anyone in the community who is 18 years old or younger. Meals will be served Mon.-Thurs. beginning May 27th and ending on June 26th. Breakfast meal times will be 8:00 a.m.-8:45 a.m. and Lunch will be served from 11:30-12:15. Meals must be consumed on-site (no to-go orders). Participants do not have to be OHS students or former students, and do not have to be attending Summer SMASH. Any 18 year old or younger is welcome to drop by, eat breakfast and/or lunch and then go on about their day. We hope to see you during meal time this summer!
