OHS has been awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant. Here's what you can expect as a result of this grant award:
  • Before and after school care will become FREE for all students effective mid-late September. Parents will be billed a partial or full amount for Sept. but not anything for Oct.-May.
  • The after school program will become more structured with designated times for activities such as art, technology, physical activity, science projects, engineering challenges, ect. There will still be time for homework but it will not be the only focus of the program.
  • Students will have access to On The Rock Ministries which provides tutoring, computer based learning and fun recreational activities.
  • Students will visit the Bartlesville Public Library several times during the year.
  • Programs will be offered over Spring Break and during the month of June to help parents who may struggle with childcare arrangements when school is not in session.
  • Special night time activities for parents and students such as Literacy Nights, STEM Nights, and Adult Computer classes.
  • Our hours have not changed. We will still have before school care from 7:00-8:00a.m. and after school care from 3:15-5:30p.m.
  • For more information on our FREE after school care contact the front office!
